What we believe about…

GOD.

We believe that there is only one true God and He eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (John 17:3; Matthew 28:19-20; John 1:1-4; Acts 5:3-4)

Jesus.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God. He was born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death, was resurrected on the third day and eventually ascended to Heaven where He forever intercedes as High Priest on our behalf. (John 1:1, 14, 18; 14:8-9; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25)

Spirit.

We believe that after His ascension to Heaven, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to the earth. While on earth, the Holy Spirit draws men and women to repentance of sin, regenerates our hearts to salvation, seals us until the day of redemption, and equips and empowers us to live godly and fruitful lives. The Holy Spirit also gives us special gifts primarily for service and also for edifying believers. We believe it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to minister according to the gifts and grace of God given to them in love. (John 16:8; 13:15; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:22; 4:11-12; Romans 8:9-17; 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 12:4-5, 11-13, 19; Galatians 5:25; Hebrews 2:1-4; 2 Corinthians 12:12)

Gospel.

We believe that God saves us because we are unable to save ourselves. We are born dead in our sins but because of His grace, mercy and through faith alone we are given new life by the hearing of the Gospel, repentance, and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:37-39; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 2:4, 5)

Church.

We believe that Jesus Christ established the universal church which is comprised of any person, anywhere in the world who puts faith in Jesus. Local churches are an expression of the universal church. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42-46; 1 Corinthians 14:26; Matthew 28:18-20)

Afterlife.

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to earth and establish His kingdom. We believe that life continues after physical death and there is a heaven and a hell. Those who have been saved by His Grace will resurrect to an eternal life with God and the rest to eternal punishment and separation from God. (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
